Passer habet ēius nīdum in plutēo vihiculōrum. Pria luce, parentēs volabant ex nīdō investigare aliquid edere ēius infantibus et solus parvōs relinquēbant.
Posteā, Pater Passer neddēbat domum.
«Quid hic factus est?» dicit, «Quis vōs nocuit, pueri? Viditis terribilem in modum!»
«Oh, Pater,» dicibant, «monstrum magnus ad nīdum nostrum veniēbat. Terribilissimus erat! Spectābat ad nidū nostrō et oculī immanēs habēbat et vōs pessimus terrēbat!»
«Hmm ... vidīo,» dicit Pater Passer, «Quō ībat?»
«Bene,» dicēbant, «illō ībat – illō in silvam.»
«Hic manēte!» dicēbat Pater Passer, «eō ad eum. Habēte non anxietas, pueri. Eum
capiam.» Postquam hīc dicēbat, ex nīdō volabat.
Sic volabat ulterius in silvam, tum circa angulum, et postquam brevī, leo inveniēbat.
Sed passer non timēbat. In terge leōnis exponēbat et eum incipit obiurgāre. «Quæ res habēs ad domūs meam» dicit, «et sic terrēre pueri meī?!»
Sic factor magna vox furiōsior et incipit leōnem obiugāre acriōre antequam. «Mihi
bonus audī – non habēs res apud mē quisquis! Quodsi audēs reddere,» dicit, «recte
vidēbis – non hīc volō facere, «dicit et tollit unum pedem suum, «sed cum pede
meōfrangam tergem tuum intrā secundem!»
Post dicebat quam, volabat recta ad nīdum ēium.
«Bene est, pueri,» dicat, «documentum bonum illī leōnī terribilī docebat. Non umquam hic reddet.»
